We're home from our short (but just long enough) vacation from Plymouth, as you might have guessed from the creative title to this post. While we had a great time we have decided it is better for us all if we visit kid friendly places when it isn't actually February vacation in Massachusetts. I'm just saying.
So we're home and as you'll see Jason clearly missed his clay. Which isn't to say that he didn't love the pool (not the water slide, not definitely not the water slide....) but the boy loves his clay. As you'll also see Ali loved the pool. And the water slide. (yes, definitely the water slide....)
We spent yesterday being as active as humanly possible with the hope that falling asleep would be easier last night - and it was. Especially for the grown ups. After a morning swim we visited Plymouth Rock. (How is it possible to make a field trip out of THAT?). Then we found Jungle Joy or Safari Land or something like that which involved a giant indoor playscape. Then we ice skated for over an hour and then we swam some more. I'm tired just typing it.... While it was all fun, I think Ali loved making friends at the skating rink and in line for the water slide the best. Jason liked skating but mostly, it was the drawing he did in between all the activities that he liked best. He wore out three of the hotels pens.
Enjoy the photos.
