While the calendar might say it's been a long month, it hasn't really felt that way around here. Like tonight, for instance. After half an hour of skating lessons and a quick change out of our skates and snowpants, we went to the science fair at the elementary school where J's class had an amazing exhibit on the birds in the schoolyard. We've been busy, busy, busy and loving every minute.
But then there have been days like yesterday when, after a trip to our favorite store Stew Leonards, we spend hours (and I do not exaggerate here) shooting off rocket balloons - from the top of Whale Rock, the top of Chicken Rock, the top of the playscape, and a myriad of places in between. Besides being really fun, the best part was J saying, "Can we just do it again and again?" again and again. Or was the best part watching D jump up to get a balloon off the roof of the shower house? Or A trying to choreograph mid-air acrobats with two, no three balloons all set off with synchronized watches?
A is the queen of the monkey bars. She's always willing to try again and again, even when the bars are about 15 degrees.
So we'll head into April, a month of vacations and birthdays and hopefully, hopefully melted snow in Mimi and Pops backyard.

You guys look like you're having way too much fun. You'll have to slow it down there, or you'll make the rest of us feel pretty boring! Love, K,W and P
